In middle school, I competitively read chapter books for “points” that I could cash in at an end-of-year auction. I spent them all on a coupon for two free medium pizzas from Dominos, instead of the Playstation.

In high school, I took Intro to Marketing. I enjoyed 50% of the curriculum and eventually discovered that the fun half was called “Advertising”. So, I got a degree in it.

After college, some people hired me to work on consumer brands. Then I blinked and found myself writing for Pharma & Healthcare. Makes sense though—my mom has a PhD in Organic Chemistry so ~science~ clearly runs in the family.

Somewhere in between these events I moved to Philadelphia, dabbled with A Cappella, took Improv classes, and killed countless goblins in Dungeons & Dragons.
